Ron Austin began his career with former “Big Eight” firm Arthur Andersen & Co. in Chicago. After launching and operating his own firm for about five years, he merged his firm into Mathieson, Moyski, Austin & Co., LLP in 1996. In addition to serving as the firm’s managing partner, Ron works with a client base consisting of businesses, trusts and individuals with complex tax situations. His client services are primarily Tax and Client Accounting & Advisory Services.

Ron is a native of northern Illinois. He and his wife raised their three children in Wheaton. Ron’s community involvement has included Wheaton Lions Club (former president), Wheaton Chamber of Commerce (past board of directors, treasurer and Ambassadors Club president), CASA of DuPage (past board of directors, treasurer and two-term president), and Friends of the Forest Preserve of DuPage County (past board of directors and treasurer).

Ron gets in a swim, bike or run most days, which keeps him ready for a few triathlons each year.
