Karen Oetjens joined Mathieson, Moyski, Austin & Co., LLP in 2020 as a Staff Accountant for the Client Accounting Services team. She was promoted to Senior Accountant in 2021. While MMA is her first experience working in a public accounting firm, she has more than 25 years experience working in the industry in various positions ranging from bookkeeping to general manager. As part of the CAAS team, she works with a variety of clients including manufacturing, construction, consulting companies, veterinarians, and industry associations.

Karen has been married for 19 years and resides in Wheaton with her husband and daughter. She enjoys doing various crafts, reading, bike riding, and water aerobics during the summer in their pool in her free time.
