Eliana Penafiel joined Mathieson, Moyski, Austin & Co., LLP in 2023 as a senior staff accountant. She has over 5 years of experience in client advisory services and tax planning/preparation. She has worked with various industries, but most recently worked on healthcare, construction, real estate and professional services. Her current focus is corporate and individual tax planning and preparation.

Eliana moved to Unites States from Ecuador in 2008. She resides in the western suburbs of Chicago with her two children. In her free time, she bike rides, plays pickleball and dedicates time to volunteering where needed.
